The Recruiting and Development Manager is responsible for the hiring and development of professional staff and attorneys firm wide. This position coordinates efforts with the Human Resources and Talent Management team and other Office Administrators to hire, develop and retain a skilled and diverse workforce.
Review needs assessment for new and replacement hires with appropriate Office Manager or Supervisor.
Review job descriptions.
Implement a recruiting program which utilizes current technologies and sources (UltiPro Recruiting, LinkedIn, job boards, etc.).
Implement behavioral interviewer training for supervisors and managers.
Review and/or develop candidate testing for positons which have specific skill requirements (IT, D&C, Accounting, etc.).
Coordinate, schedule and assist with interviewing candidates; counseling managers on applicant selection.
Present job offers to candidates, and prepare offer letters.
Initiate background checks and monitor results. Development and Training

Assess and provide recommendations for the training and development needs of staff and supervisors.
Coordinate training efforts with the Manager of Attorney Professional Development, Employee Relations Administrator and Training Department.
Administer firm wide evaluation processes for all staff; 90 day, correctional and annual reviews.
Provide Office Administrators assistance with I-9, immigration and visa issues.
Develop efficiencies in UltiPro Onboarding and New Hire Workflow to streamline pre-hire onboarding processes.
Responsible for coordination and update of professional staff development and recruiting information on Pipeline.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 4-6 years of recruiting experience, including sourcing, interviewing and extending offers at all levels.
Experienced in training and development of professional staff
Demonstrated ability to work within the HR/TM team, as well as independently with all levels of management and staff.
Proven project management skills, coordinating from concept to implementation.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively in written and oral format.
Self-motivated, with the ability to establish and meet goals and deadlines.
Highly organized with the ability to adjust and reprioritize to meet changing demands.
Experienced with evaluation and recruiting software and reporting.
Proficient with social media recruiting and sourcing.
Ability to travel on a limited basis.
