The Professional Development Coordinator will provide support to the Directors, Managers and firm's lawyers primarily in the Litigation Department. The Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that the firm's training programs, projects and initiatives are conducted in a professional manner and that the service delivered is of the highest quality.
Coordinate logistics for in-house training programs, including arranging meetings, sending invitations, making room reservations and preparing materials.
Manage post-program wrap up including finalizing timed agendas, sign-in sheets, evaluation summaries, attendance tracking and uploading training videos to training library.
Maintain the firm's training library and bulletin, including posting programs, announcements, and updates.
Create, process, and maintain department files, including department calendar, continuing legal education compliance documents and consultant contracts.
Provide administrative assistance for client programs including preparing sign-in sheets, tracking, creation and distribution CLE certificates, and maintenance of client CLE library.
Create and organize event collateral including nametags, sign-in sheets, and signage.
Handle departmental administrative tasks, including answering phones, document formatting, "one-off" projects and other special assignments (for example, assisting in the roll-out of new technological solutions), as needed.
Manage department's expense reimbursements and check requests.
Serve as back-up and provide support to the CLE Administrator, Coordinators, Managers, Directors and Chief for all programs and events.
BA degree, plus 2+ years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm;
Complete proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
Extremely strong organizational and planning skills, written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills;
Highly motivated self-starter, strong work ethic, enthusiastic "can do" attitude and eagerness to take ownership of the job responsibilities;
Extraordinary attention to detail, accuracy, precision and follow-up.
