Reports to: Director of Litigation Support Services
Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr is seeking a candidate for the position of Project Manager in our Litigation Support Services (LSS) department based in Baltimore, MD. The candidate must possess experience working with litigation attorneys and industry vendors on matters involving complex ediscovery, data rooms and trial support.
Primary Responsibilities – Project Management 50% and Consultancy 50%
Manage and participate in all aspects of litigation support along the ediscovery reference model (EDRM) timeline for multiple matters in all offices
Provide case teams and clients with consultancy, oversight and support during the full ediscovery life-cycle
Collect and process electronically stored information (ESI) and paper from matter inception to production using industry technologies and vendors.
Provide ECA strategy, track boxes/media, follow detailed processing specifications and assist with ESI productions
Coordinate, manage and assist with doc reviews incl workflow, searching, tagging and reporting
Provide case teams and clients with consultancy, oversight and support in all aspects of trial support for varied proceedings
Coordinate and participate in trial support functions incl equip maintenance, instruction and setup at all venues
Administrate collaborative workspaces and data rooms
Engage and manage vendors in all phases of the EDRM across multiple matters
Docket projects and manage project tasks
Maintain communication with attorneys and case team regarding timelines and status
Identify and escalate issues and risks as appropriate
Ensure delivery of work product within set timeframes and QC standards
Assist developing and documenting solutions, workflows and procedures at a department level
Build and foster strong relationships with attorneys, staff and clients
Required Technology and Skills
Extensive experience in Relativity or equiv review platform
Extensive experience in MSOffice incl Access
Experience in TextMap or equiv s/w incl real time
Extensive knowledge of NUIX, LAW or equiv processing software
Knowledge of CaseMap or equiv s/w
Knowledge of advanced analytics, TAR and computer assisted review
Experience collecting ESI and paper
Knowledge of forensic collection and processing standards
Ability to manage multiple matters with shifting deadlines and moving targets in a fast paced environment while communicating with case teams
Strong communication and organizational skills to work with legal and technical teams
Ability to manage others, allocate resources and delegate responsibilities
Willingness to learn, adopt and implement processes and procedures
Min. 5 years of combined experience in litigation support, ediscovery, project management and EDD technologies
Ability to work flexible hours and remotely as needed
Ability to travel to all offices and trial locations
Ability to perform light lifting including box collection & equip moving
Prefer experience in Trial Director, Sanction, Clearwell, SharePoint
