Ajilon Professional Staffing is searching on an Attorney Recruiting/Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator job for Littler in the Kansas City Metro area.
The role of the Recruiting/Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator is to work closely with the Sr. Director and Manager of Attorney Recruiting & Development (ARD) to coordinate and implement the Firm's non-Shareholder recruiting and the Firm's strategic objectives for diversity. Under the guidance of the Sr. Director and the Manager of ARD, the Coordinator should be able to work independently, in a highly organized manner, and to prioritize workload while working in a fast-paced environment.
The Attorney Recruiting/Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for supporting all aspects of the recruitment process, including working with offices to post open positions, screening applicants, assessing candidate skill level, presenting qualified candidates to offices and coordinating job fairs and on campus interviewing. • Work closely with Recruiting Shareholders to recommend terms, approve offer documentation, and complete necessary pre-hire investigations during the offer and hiring process. • Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing tasks and duties related to internal and external diversity and inclusion initiatives for all U.S. offices by performing a broad spectrum of administrative duties. • Work closely with DAIC co-chairs in the planning, coordination and support of programs, affinity group meeting and other meetings, including logistical components and site/catering/audiovisual reservations for internal and external diversity events. • Assist in the preparation and forecasting of the diversity and recruiting budgets; responsible for tracking, monitoring and maintaining accurate accounts of all expenses and balances to support the DAIC program budget; responsible for submitting all check requests for DAIC- and recruiting-related expenses.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services environment. • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with viDesktop and Lawcruit platforms preferred. • Candidate must have proven problem-solving ability, be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and take responsibility for designing and implementing goals. • Solution Orientation and Problem Solving Demonstrated ability to routinely solve problems associated with daily support work, such as errors in process steps, or deviations from standard protocols. When unable to find suitable solutions, demonstrated ability to both notify management and provide suggested solutions.
