Quarles & Brady is seeking a legal recruiting coordinator to implement programs relating to associate recruiting and retention for our Arizona offices as well as coordinate all aspects of partner recruiting and integration.
Maintain tracking of all lateral attorney and law student submissions in the legal recruiting database in Arizona.
Coordinate interview schedules for attorney candidates and law students in Arizona; distribute recruiting materials to prospective lateral candidates; collect interviewer evaluations; coordinate as needed with the local administrative personnel.
Serve as Law School Outreach Coordinator. Manage social media campaign at law schools and on firm website.
Provide proactive and reliable lateral partner recruitment support to the Senior Manager, Attorney Recruitment; prepare candidate briefing materials and schedule prep calls for all lateral partner/counsel candidates.
Assist attorneys and new employees with the areas of: orientation, housing, and answer general questions.
Schedule new hire orientation/training and conduct portions of the orientation as needed.
Coordinate and plan legal receptions, summer associate activities, and other events.
Serve on the Mentoring Steering Committee and support the administrative details of the attorney mentoring program, keeping track of mentor/mentee assignments; conduct check-ins.
Maintain budget for summer associate entertainment and associate recruiting and entertainment expenses.
Serve as an H.R. Generalist for all offices and provide direction, answers and support for attorneys and staff with H.R. questions.
Bachelor's degree required
3-5 years' progressively responsible, related experience required
Ability to work with diverse populations
Excellent sensitivity, confidentiality and judgment related to human resource issues
Excellent organizational, interpersonal relations, written and oral communications required
Strong customer service attitude
Work well under pressure, good problem solver
Proficient with a variety of Window based software packages, including word processing spreadsheets, presentation and database software.
Team player, leader, ability to coordinate the work of others
Ability to work independently required
Ability to coordinate many issues/projects at once
