The Manager of Lateral Partner Recruitment & Integration- Americas will work with the lateral partner recruitment team to further develop and manage the lateral hiring and integration processes for the Americas, with a particular focus on the New York office. Drawing from a high level of professional services acumen and a strong law firm recruitment background (with experience in either recruiting, practice management or business development), the Manager will oversee the process for identifying, assessing and recruiting lateral partners and counsel, as well as managing their on-boarding and integration. The Manager also will be responsible for cultivating and managing critical relationships (both internal and external).
This position will work closely with Director of Lateral Partner Recruitment – Americas to define and execute partner recruiting strategies for the firm including, but not limited to:
Defining and executing sourcing plans;
Coordinating and managing interviews, including schedules and feedback
Developing and managing candidate briefing materials for interviewers
Drafting candidate proposal documentation for the executive committee and board, as well as prepare partner offer letters
Working with New York and other offices to assess and identify talent needs for practice areas and execute strategic growth plans
Maintaining relationships with preferred search firms to promote the firm and lateral opportunities
Serving as a point of contact for candidates and search firms throughout the hiring process; working with relevant HR contacts to ensure background checks are performed
Assessing and reporting on market trends, recruiting opportunities and firm recruiting performance as it relates to partner level hiring, and in particular, in the New York market
Conducting statistical analysis of internal candidates and recruiting trends;
Liaising with the Marketing & Business Development Department on partner recruitment and integration efforts, with a particular focus on the New York market; collaborating on the development of pertinent marketing materials
Supporting and successfully executing processes that support the on-boarding and integration of new lateral partners

Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including one hour for lunch. Must be flexible to work additional hours.

Five (5)+ years of experience recruiting experience in a large law firm, preferably with multi-office experience supporting lateral hiring;
Bachelor’s degree; JD preferred;
Familiarity with the development/refinement of operating systems;
Excellent organization, communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work well with others at all levels and to gain the confidence of professionals at all levels;
Highly responsive with a strong sense of time management and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines efficiently and effectively;
Ability to comfortably and competently handle sensitive and confidential information;
