Our firm is currently searching for an experienced immigration paralegal to join our team. This person must be bilingual in Spanish and English. The paralegal must have knowledge of the policies and procedures for Immigration Courts and have experience preparing and submitting applications and evidence to the US Immigration Courts. We need a professional who is reliable and who can meet deadlines.
Our firm primarily handles cases involving removal defense, family-based immigration, and other general immigration matters. The paralegal will be expected to assist attorneys in preparing and submitting documents to the Immigration Courts, USCIS, and NVC. The paralegal will work closely with the attorneys and assist with all aspects of our immigration litigation, including: drafting motions, letters, and correspondence; communicating with clients and the courts; and gathering evidence to support the various applications. The person must also be able to do translations.

This is a full time position: Monday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm; Fridays, 9am to 5pm. On occasion, if an urgent project arises, the paralegal must be able to stay late.

Bachelor’s degree/ Paralegal certificate
At least 3+ years’ experience (Immigration litigation/Immigration Court)
FLUENT in Spanish and English
Exceptional attention to detail and organization
Excellent verbal and written skills (grammar, spelling, etc.)
Must have experience handling large case load and ability to meet tight deadlines
Reliability, punctuality, and a team player
