Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a TemporaryRecruitingAssistant for the LosAngelesandOrangeCounty offices. This temporary assignment will have a length of 3 months and will require the individual to spend two days per week in the LA office and the remaining three days in the OC office.

Are you a self-starter and have a high level of initiative and drive? Are you looking for a position where you can gain solid recruiting experience, interact with both attorneys and incoming student attorneys, and take charge in planning and executing a variety of events?
Assist with the Summer Associate program including maintaining summer associate work product files and preparation of materials for reviews, hiring committee meetings and interviews.
You will help coordinate, promote, and attend internal and external recruiting events.
You will process related invoices and reimbursements and track expenses.
You will interact daily interactions with the attorney assignment coordinator to help support the work assignment process.
You will oversee student, lateral, and partner attorney recruiting including the coordination of rapidly changing interview schedules for attorney applicants, preparation and distribution of interview materials, and communications with attorney applicants.
You will maintain applicant tracking database (LawCruit).
You will assist in the completion of new hire and departure paperwork, help with the orientation procedures, and partake in the onboarding process.
You will be involved with the on-campus interview (OCI) process including arranging interview times, communicating with potential student applicants, and confirming various schedules and remaining details.
