The Lateral Recruiting Manager position must be located in the Washington office. This manager oversees a team which provides centralized support for lateral Partner and Associate candidates applying to, and being recruited by, Jones Day. The Manager works closely with Practice Leaders, Partners-in-Charge of the offices, the Firmwide Hiring Partner, the Firm Director of Recruiting to identify recruiting needs, source applicants, liaise with search firms and manage the search firm agreement process. The Manager is also responsible for overseeing applicant tracking, communication, interviews and other logistics. Financial responsibilities include annual budget proposal, monitoring expenses, and payment of search fees.
· BA/BS degree or equivalent.
· Minimum of 10 years progressively responsible experience in private law firm recruiting.
· Minimum of 5 years management experience, including personnel supervision and administration of lawyer recruiting programs.
