The global law firm of Linklaters LLP seeks a Legal Recruiting Advisor for its New York office. This position will work closely with members of the Recruitment and Human Resources teams, as well as colleagues in our overseas offices.
Primary responsibilities include:
coordination of all aspects of law student, entry-level and lateral recruitment summer associate program planning and implementation student outreach coordination of lateral interviews liaising with law schools, recruiters and candidates
Responsibilities also include planning and execution of events; screening resumes; maintaining candidate records; tracking statistics; and on-boarding of new hires. This position will also support the Resourcing & Work Allocation Manager to identify and allocate assignments to our junior associates. We are a small team supporting our global U.S. practice; an interest in working at a global firm is key, as is the ability to work with individuals across all levels of seniority.
The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a self-starter who is reliable, eager for responsibility and able to work independently. Strong written and spoken communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and multi-task effectively are a must, as are good judgment, a professional demeanor and the ability to act with discretion. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are also important for this role.
Bachelor’s Degree, with 2-3 years of experience in legal recruitment. Working knowledge of Excel and familiarity with applicant tracking systems and/or other HR people systems such as VI, Lawcruit, Workday. This role will require some domestic and overseas travel, at various points in the year.
