The Recruiting Assistant will report to the Washington, D.C. Recruiting Manager and Recruiting Coordinator and provide administrative support towards the firm’s legal recruitment efforts. Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is an internationally renowned law firm with over 1,250 lawyers in 20 offices in major cities throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and South America.
The Recruiting Assistant’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist the Recruiting Department with all of the Washington, D.C. office’s recruitment functions (summer, new, and lateral associate hiring).
Act as the Office Training Coordinator for the office’s attorney CLE and professional development programs.
Communicate internal information to attorneys and administrative team members regarding Recruiting Department actions, processes, and policies.
Support the Recruiting Department’s administrative needs.
Includes database management, document creation and maintenance, candidate correspondence, bill payments, event logistics, and miscellaneous needs.
Attend monthly WALRAA meetings/events.
Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, initiative, be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, take direction from others, exhibit confidentiality and professionalism, have the willingness to learn, and be a team player.
Education & Experience: This position requires a four-year college degree and proficiency in computer technology (Microsoft Office).
