Assisting attorneys with client pitch preparations and RFP responses, including editing, formatting, and proofreading
Conducting research related to the firm’s business development strategy
Assisting with website maintenance, including updating attorney biographies, practice area descriptions, and news items
Assisting with preparation of submissions to legal ranking publications
Maintaining the department’s internal tracking charts, databases, and filing systems
Providing logistical support for marketing seminars and other firm events
Monitoring docket alerts for potential targets and coordinating with attorneys to draft pitch letters
Executing administrative requests or other projects as needed
Qualified candidates must possess a four-year undergraduate degree. Candidates must be self-motivated, have a demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, efficiently manage tasks, and produce a high-end work product in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding organizational, administrative, and communication (oral and written) skills are required. Candidates must have a very strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor. Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite is necessary, experience with InDesign is a preferred. Previous law firm experience is a plus.
