Bachelor's Degree and seven years' experience in a career services, job placement, professional development, or student services. or Master's Degree and five years' experience in career services, job placement, professional development, or student services or J.D. and three years' experience in career services, job placement, professional development, or student services.
This position requires a results-oriented individual with a strong sense of vision, creativity, and initiative who also demonstrates strong organizational and managerial skills. It requires the ability to connect effectively with students, employers, law school faculty and staff, alumni, and the public. Success in this position will demand a continuing awareness of and commitment to best practices in career services. The Director must be able to recognize and implement new technologies and methods to achieve institutional goals; to inspire student confidence, teach thoughtful self-assessment and goal-setting, and foster a sense of empowerment to achieve; to maintain a high level of professionalism, energy and commitment; and to manage multiple tasks in an organized and detail-oriented way while remaining personable, supportive, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering the highest quality of student ervice.
