We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiting professional to join our talent management team working from our Silicon Valley office. The Legal Recruiting Manager will oversee recruiting and hiring for all attorneys in the firm and work directly with the Chief Talent Officer, Hiring Committees, Practice Group leaders and supervise a Recruiting Coordinator. This position will be responsible for resume screening, interviewing, managing the selection and offer process as well as conflicts review and reference and background checks. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience employing a wide variety of tools to source attorney candidates such as accessing law schools, search firms, internal referral programs, online resources, business networks, and diversity organizations.
Additional responsibilities include managing the OCI program, and developing relationships with the law school communities and managing our Summer Associate Program. This role will sit within the talent management department which includes, the Recruiting, Professional Development and Training, and Diversity and Inclusion teams. This position will work collaboratively with the HR, Marketing and Finance teams, as well as office administrators to implement firm-wide initiatives and promote best practices. In partnership with these teams, opportunities exist to help create marketing materials, and website content, to manage budgets/financial reporting, and to enhance the on-boarding and orientation process.
Proficiency with LawCruit, or other applicant tracking system experience is preferred
Possess excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities, and to communicate effectively with others at all levels within the organization
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of responsibility.
Thorough understanding of NALP guidelines and policies
Experience with analyzing recruiting data/industry trends and implementing strategies to best source candidates
Have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of law firm recruiting experience, which includes managing lateral attorney hiring; law student on-campus recruiting; and the summer associate program
Ability to travel periodically for recruiting events/job fairs and related business needs
