The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years legal experience, either in the area of alcoholic beverage law or intellectual property, but other regulated industries will be considered. Candidate will have excellent research, writing and organizational skills with a keen eye for details. We are a small firm where all lawyers communicate on a regular basis with each other and directly with clients, so excellent communication abilities are essential.
Counseling alcohol beverage manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers on compliance, licensing, customs, labeling, advertising and promotional strategy.
Advising the trade vis-à-vis federal and state rules and regulations.
Drafting importing, manufacturing and distribution agreements.
Communication with federal and state regulatory agencies.
Develop and maintain client relations.
Review and research federal and state compliance, regulatory, advertising, labeling, and shipping laws related to alcoholic beverages and related commodities in order to provide guidance to clients.
