The Professional Recruitment Coordinator will provide support to the firm’s Director of Professional Recruitment for the Philadelphia office. This position requires strong interpersonal, organization, time management, and communication skills paired with a dedicated client service mentality.
This position is the face of the firm in many situations and the individual must create and maintain a positive image through interactions with students and law school career services personnel, attorneys, staff and vendors. The ability to keep personnel issues confidential, manage several concurrent tasks, and present a professional image in person and over the phone is critical. This role will be based in our Philadelphia office, located in the Art Museum area in center city.
In accordance with the firm’s Client Service Initiatives, the Professional Recruitment Coordinator must display good judgment, effective interpersonal communications, and confidentiality and discretion are required consistently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist in the coordination of lateral associate hiring: develop job descriptions; sourcecandidates; pre-screen resumes; track candidates; coordinate interviews, evaluations, and follow up with the candidates; interface with Practice Group Leaders, partners, associates and staff; assist with offer letter preparation; and perform reference checks.
Assist in the coordination of the Philadelphia office OCI (On Campus Interviews) Program: register for OCI sessions; coordinate the OCI callback process, including travel arrangements; track and evaluate candidates, including write-in resumes; prepare follow-up letters; and prepare hiring committee meeting materials.
Assist in the coordination of the Philadelphia office Summer Associate Program: liaise with firm wide activities; track assignments and evaluations; plan and execute social activities; prepare hiring committee materials; and manage and track expenses.
Coordinate and send response letters to interviewed candidates and write-in submissions.
Responsible for database entry and statistical reports and updates.
Network, promote, and build relationships with candidates, law schools, search firms, and other legal recruiting sources.
Create new ideas to market the firm to law schools and other recruiting sources.
Other administrative duties, as required and requested.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist with new hire onboarding and preparation.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of two years’ attorney or professional staff recruitment experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Micron Systems/LawCruit software.
