Jones Day has an excellent, full-time opportunity for a Recruiting Coordinator to join the recruiting team in Miami.
Our Miami office recruiting coordinator is an integral member of the team that plans and coordinates the summer associate program. You would act in coordination with the Office Hiring Partner, Office Administrator, and the Firmwide Director of Recruiting to support law student, lateral associate, and judicial clerk hiring initiatives, make annual preparations for the New Lawyers Group program, and assist the hiring and diversity committees in fulfilling their initiatives. The Recruiting Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining the applicant tracking database and internal summer program website, creating reports, and fulfilling other special projects as assigned.
• Four-year college degree. • Effective strategic planning and program management skills. • Aptitude for analytical thinking and problem solving. • Ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships. • Experience using web based databases and data reporting. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Fluency in English required; Fluency in Spanish preferred. • One to two years prior law firm or related recruiting experienced required.
