Attorney Recruitment, Professional Legal Management
4 Year Degree
Basic Function: Provides administrative support and assistance to Director in coordination to recruit attorneys (except patent attorneys), paralegals, and law students for the firm’s 15 offices. Assists Director in implementing recruiting objectives strategically. Works with attorneys, paralegals, staff, summer clerks, applicants, headhunters, law schools, and regional offices in implementing firm's recruiting functions. Collaborates with Professional Development (PD) team to facilitate integration of new hires into the firm.
Works with Director in developing and monitoring recruiting strategies and in carrying out the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Monitors market trends and keeps Director apprised of trends in attracting and retaining top talent, and other relative industry intelligence.
Works with Client Services team to prepare and maintain advertising and recruiting materials; Ensures the firm’s recruiting website is up to date.
Works with Recruiting Team to ensure a high level of customer service, internal and external, in recruiting processes including: Advertising open positions to ensure wide dissemination; Tracking incoming applications and conducting preliminary review; Conducting initial screening by phone or in person as requested and making recommendations to Director and hiring partners; Handling travel arrangements and all other administrative details for local and out-of-state candidates; Scheduling, preparation, and distribution of interview schedules; Collecting and distributing post interview evaluations; Conducting reference and fact check; and Conducting conflicts and background checks; Coordinating new hire trainings and orientations.
Represents H&H in law school employer panels, mock interviews, resume review workshops, career fairs, and OCIs, etc. and build a wide network.
Regularly attends Denver Area Legal Recruiters Association meetings.
Works with Recruiting Committee, Summer Clerk Committee, and PD Team to plan and execute summer programs including onboarding, integration, evaluations, and social events
Assists the firm achieve its diversity and inclusion goals and missions through recruiting related processes such as: Identifying ways to enhance recruiting processes; Coordinating Colorado Pledge to Diversity program; Supporting the firm's participation in Mansfield Certification Rule; and Supporting all recruiting initiatives of Recruiting Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Assumes primary responsibility for accurately entering data into recruitment databases, generating reports, correspondence, schedules, and other data requests from recruitment database, as requested by Director.
Provides administrative support for all special projects, as requested by Director
Prior law firm recruiting experience at a coordinator or higher level for a minimum of 4 years

Preferred experience with viRecruit and viDesktop
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience; JD a plus
