Nossaman LLP has an immediate opening for an experienced Technical Support Analyst for our Washington D.C. office who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the hardware, software, servers, pdas and other equipment in assigned office(s) under the direction of the Information Technology Support Services Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to provide a wide range of general and user-specific support, including implementing software upgrades, and assisting users with hardware and software issues. The position also involves work on various Firm-wide projects including upgrades of Firm applications, telephony, video conferencing, printers and coordinating the support of multi-function devices with Facilities Management employees, as well as remote user support for other offices. This position is based in the Firm's D.C. office, and reports to the Information Technology Support Services Manager.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of computer systems as well as practical experience with various relevant applications and hardware troubleshooting techniques. The position requires excellent customer service and communication skills and ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates must be able to interact effectively with people of varying skill levels, responsibilities and backgrounds.
Detailed understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Office 2010/2016; Windows 10/Win 7; iManage DeskSite and FileSite; and InterAction required;
Helpful to know Aderant, Nuance PDF, Relativity, and legal macro software;
Must have good working knowledge of Citrix, OWA, VPN, mobile device (Android, iPhone), Shortel VOIP phones, video conference set up experience, tracking/ticketing systems, basic network experience;
Knowledge of Lenovo and HP laptops and desktops, HP Printers and Cost Recovery equipment needed.
Minimum of 3+ years experience in similar user support or applications specialist/network administrator position in a law firm environment.
Bachelor's degree preferred; Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) preferred;
Depending on client and attorney needs, this position may require more than 37.5 hours per week;
Additionally, this position is part of the on-call rotation which includes evening, weekend on-call support;
Must be able to lift and move 40lbs.
