Attorney Recruitment, Professional Legal Management
Provides highly responsible administrative support to the Legal Recruiting Department.
Tracks and files incoming resumes and maintains recruiting databases. Assist in greeting and escorting candidates to interviews.
Prepares and sends out offer and rejection letters/emails. Maintain accurate records of recruiting expenses and prepare check requests, assist in assuring all payments arrive to vendors on time.
Upload all interview schedule information into Scheduler database.
Schedule meetings and conference rooms. Responsible for pre-registering visitors by notifying Office Services Department.
Keep apprised of market trends for legal recruiting market, including but not limited to internet research, attending WALRAA meetings.
Assist in the preparation of reports for hiring partners, summer program, budget, etc.
Provide administrative support to Legal Recruiting Team.
Perform other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates.
Attend meetings with Hiring Partners and Legal Recruiting Manager.
Compile interview evaluation forms for Hiring Partners.
Assist in creating reports for Hiring Partners.
Assist Legal Recruiting Team in scheduling on-campus interview dates and organizing hospitality suites at schools.
Assists in coordinating hotel arrangements for attorneys who conduct on-campus interviewing.
Assist with yearly update of on-campus recruiting manuals and attorney recruiting manuals.
Attend call back meetings and assist Legal Recruiting Team with tracking all data on offer decisions.
Process rejection and offer letters for on-campus interviews and update recruiting database for callback interviews.
Schedule all callback interviews for on-campus recruits.
Supports the Legal Recruiting Team in coordinating in-office interviews for Summer Associate candidates with attorneys.
Assist in planning “sell” dinners at schools.
Prepare check requests for travel and hotel accommodations for applicants.
Responsible for billing and reimbursing other firms for shared expenses.
Assist in organizing and planning Summer Associate Program which includes planning all events, lunches and breakfasts, preparing charts and reports for Summer Chair, and updating manuals for new summer associates.
Assists in setting up Summer Associate orientation schedules and drafting welcome memos.
Prepares Summer Associate Face Books.
Main contact for outside vendors for Summer Associate Program events.
Attend all summer social activities including evening and weekend events.
Work closely with Summer Chair, Summer Committee and Legal Recruiting Manager to ensure the Summer Associate Program is running smoothly.
Track summer budget and report details to Legal Recruiting Team.
Send all notices to attorneys and summer associates about summer events and manage responses and guest lists.
Set up offices for summer associates on first day.
Assist in preparation for summer offer meeting.
Update summer associate contact information after departure.
Update summer associate work database as projects are assigned and completed; track the summer associate work assignments; maintain summer associate work product binders.
LATERAL ATTORNEY RECRUITING:
Assist Legal Recruiting Team in tracking lateral attorneys.
Serve as point of contact for laterals in absence of Legal Recruiting Team.
Assist Legal Recruiting Manager in planning reception for Federal Circuit clerks.
Assist Legal Recruiting Team in tracking clerk candidates.
OUTREACH EFFORTS TO SCHOOLS:
Coordinate administrative details of events with law school career centers.
Responsible for gathering and sending all materials (brochures, trinkets) to outreach events.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited college or university
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Prior legal recruiting experience
Law firm experience
