Nossaman seeks an Attorney Recruiting & Development Coordinator to support firm wide attorney recruiting and professional development efforts. This challenging and dynamic role requires a highly discreet and professional individual, with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with individuals at every level of the Firm. The Attorney Recruiting & Development Coordinator will report to the Attorney Recruiting & Development Director and will be located in the Los Angeles office.
Specific responsibilities include:
Coordinate hiring of summer associates, associates, and lateral partners, including posting jobs, responding to employment inquiries, updating recruiting database (viRecruit), scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate travel arrangements, and drafting orientation schedules;
Support the summer associate program, including coordinating events and training programs;
Coordinate the logistics for the Firm’s attorney training programs, including CLE tracking and compliance;
Support the associate performance evaluation process, mentoring programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives;
Maintain and update the Attorney Recruiting & Development department pages and learning resources on the Firm’s intranet; and
Prepare check requests, process invoices, and provide HRIS data entry and reporting support.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
A minimum of 3 years recruiting, professional development, or human resources experience in a law firm or other professional services environment strongly preferred.
Knowledge of NALP guidelines helpful.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines.
viDesktop (or other applicant tracking system/performance management system) and ADP Workforce Now experience desired.
Advanced skills in MS Office (strong Excel skills required), Adobe Acrobat, FileSite preferred.
