Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Office Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of lawyer and law student recruiting. The Office Recruiting Coordinator will work in coordination with the Office Hiring Partner, Office Administrator, and the Firm-wide Recruiting Director. The Coordinator’s responsibilities include:
Law School Recruiting-coordinating on-campus arrangements and interview schedules; scheduling office interviews; implementing strategic law school outreach.
Summer Associate Program-coordinating all aspects of the summer associate program, assisting with the on-boarding process; planning, execution, and attending educational and social events; monitoring summer associate workload and evaluations.
New Lawyer Group-planning and executing educational programs supporting the New Lawyer Group Coordinator.
Lateral Recruiting-assisting Practice leads with identifying suitable interview candidates, coordinating interview schedules and evaluations.
Other Duties-assisting with Diversity and Women’s Initiative events as they relate to recruiting and supporting the Diversity, Inclusion & Advancement Committee; maintaining and updating applicant tracking system; generating management reports and charts; managing the recruiting budget for the office.
This position is open because the prior person was promoted to another position within the Firm but in a different office. There is room for growth in this position.
Four-year College degree.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and technology.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with a wide range of people in a team setting.
Prior law firm or law school recruiting experience preferred but not required.
