Cooley is seeking a Licensing and CLE Assistant to join its legal education team. The Licensing and CLE Assistant will be part of a growing team at Cooley focused on the accreditation and compliance of firm training programs and attorney licensing issues. This role will work with the Manager of Attorney Licensing and Compliance to ensure compliance with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and other regulatory requirements for all firm lawyers. Specific duties include assisting in monitoring and tracking the status of attorneys’ license to practice law, preparation of program specific forms, supporting on-site and off-site and online CLE accredited programs and providing administrative support to the Manager of Attorney Licensing and Compliance.
Candidates must have previous general office experience and computer skills. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and prior law firm experience. Ideal candidates will be proficient in learning management systems, CE Manager, viDesktop+CLE and will have a working knowledge of CLE rules (CA, NY, VA).
