eXacta Global is currently hiring for two seperate roles: Director of Attorney Recruiting and Director of Attorney Recruiting & Diversity. eXacta is a woman-owned legal recruiting company that covers all major domestic markets as well as London, Frankfurt and Paris. Please note, while we are NYC-based, we are flexible in terms of the candidate's location.
Your essential job functions shall be to responsibly and responsively (i) manage all client and candidate relationships you undertake and (ii) perform special projects, including marketing, advertising, and event planning in order to promote new candidate or in-house client acquisition. The Director of Attorney Recruiting & Diversity will have a special emphasis on diverse candidate acquisition.
Promote new candidate acquisition through a variety of networking and out-reach methods.
Creating fulsome strategic lateral recruiting plans, both active and opportunistic, for individual and/or group attorney candidates; subsequently procuring the best lateral opportunities at law firms and/or in-house for the candidate(s).
Consult and liaise directly with the Attorney Recruiting and Diversity & Inclusion Departments within both law firms and financial service institutions to promote hiring and retention.
Successfully handle candidates with a large degree of detail and thoroughness, including counseling on the current state of the legal recruiting market, resume/deal sheet editing, interview preparation, and overall recruiting counseling throughout the hiring process.
Respectfully and effectively coordinating with law firm and in-house recruiting personnel throughout the course of the recruiting process.
Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner and be a resource for all recruiting related inquires.
We are looking for candidates who have a demonstrated track record in legal recruiting from either a law firm or private recruiting background. Candidates who have previous experience in/or are currently working in a Diversity & Inclusion role within a law firm are strongly encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have exceptional interpersonal skills, while being confident communicators, in both written and verbal communications. Candidates will have the drive to self-direct their daily work and long-term milestones, while supporting the overall goals of the eXacta team. Additionally, candidates who have an active interest in branding and marketing to support creative client and candidate generating activities, are highly desirable.
