Under the direction of the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer (“CDO”), the Diversity & Inclusion Manager will partner with the firm’s attorneys and staff worldwide to advance the firm’s overall D&I vision and strategy.
In coordination with the CDO and the firm's Affinity Groups, design and deliver programs which advance our firm-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives related to the recruitment, mentoring, retention and promotion of our lawyers, and that support an inclusive environment. The Manager will lead the preparation of client and industry D&I survey submissions and will help facilitate partnerships with external organizations that promote and support diversity and inclusion. The Manager must have sound judgement to respond to complex issues and a demonstrated passion in advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
Compile, analyze and report on firm D&I data for external surveys, client RFPs and other questionnaires and benchmark firm data against external diversity metrics
Collaborate with HRIS to define metrics that measure the effectiveness of D&I programs as well as identify program gaps
Regularly analyze D&I metrics and present findings and recommendations for program changes, as appropriate, to the CDO
Provide support to the CDO, D&I committees and Affinity Groups firm-wide and help plan and implement important initiatives and programs
Oversee and project manage day-to-day operations of the firm’s D&I programs and activities
Partner with Affinity Group Steering Committee to design and organize Affinity Group and firm-wide events, providing thought leadership and programmatic support
In partnership with HRIS, track and report on demographics, trends and statistics at the firm and in the legal industry
Develop content for and maintain D&I communication materials, including internal and external
Act as a trusted resource for diverse individuals at the firm
Track latest trends in D&I in law firms and other industries
Develop presentations using PowerPoint, and other data analytics as needed

Excellent writer, editor and proofreader
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to manage a project budget
Website development and maintenance, as well as strong MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday)
Demonstrated experience with data analysis preferred, including the ability to present and report on data
Strong knowledge of D&I efforts and best practices in the legal recruiting or professional services industry
