The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is seeking a Manager of Operations and Reporting to be a part of the Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) team.
The Manager, Operations and Reporting for the Center for Career & Professional Development (employment statistics not financial), will spearhead all compilation of employment data collected for ABA, NALP, and US NEWS. The Manager will help the Asst. Dean manages the day to day office operations of the CCPD. The Manager will assist in aspects of employer outreach including identifying, tracking and communicating with employers with the goal of identifying those that are hiring attorneys and have employment opportunities for emerging law-related programs. This role will work with the entire CCPD team to provide market information to counselors and to help match and connect students and alumni to opportunities. This role will also review and approve CLE programs and track and publicize student Professional Development requirements at the law school.

• Manages and develops systems and processes to enhance all office operations (including recruiting, technology, Professional Development program and CLE) and to provide excellent customer service. • Manages department employer database, compiles, systemizes and analyzes recruiting and employment information for internal and external reporting for organizations including, but not limited to, NALP, ABA, and US News. • Gathers employment data for all three classes and prepares internal employment reports. • Assists with employer relations and office outreach and marketing efforts. • Conducts research into private and public organizations that hire law students and law school graduates, with a focus on roles that require or prefer a JD. • Provides all certification and data tracking for the Professional Development and Continuing Legal Education programs at the law school. • Assists counselors with their efforts on behalf of the students in career exploration, career decision making, self-assessment, and job search management. • Manages the development and coordination of programs, web and print resources, and workshops to educate students on career and internship opportunities. • Designs and creates complex reports and employee surveys to support career services goals; analyze metrics to support strategic planning. • Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.
JD preferred. • Experience or interest in the metro-NYC and tri-state legal market. • Ability to leverage technology to track results and manage data. • Strong interpersonal, research, organizational and presentation skills. • At least two years of progressive administrative, technical and project management (planning and implementation) experience in fast-paced, deadline driven-work settings. • A strong customer-service focus with the ability to effectively multi-task, independently problem-solve, and meet time-sensitive deadlines. Other projects as directed.
