Attorney Professional Development, Professional Legal Management
The Administrative Assistant for Training and CLE will be responsible for supporting firm-wide and practice driven legal education and ensuring compliance with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) globally for both firm lawyers and firm sponsored client programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with data entry into viCLE, the Firm's CLE tracking database.
Generate certificates of attendance, CLE compliance reports, and CLE forms.
Maintain the Firm’s official CLE files.
Distribute CLE records to requesting lawyers.
Create training schedules for in-house training programs.
Enter roster information for in-house and client training programs.
Provide support with accessing the Firm's external training platforms such as PLI.
Update CLE content on the intranet.
Assist the Professional Development team in responding to inquiries regarding CLE compliance and program accreditation.
Maintain information in spreadsheets, charts, and databases.
Perform other duties as needed.
A minimum of one year of administrative assistant experience in a fast-paced professional environment is required.
Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven organizational skills.
Highly responsive and service oriented.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong computer skills and exposure to database search and data entry, preferably a learning management system. (Knowledge of viDesktop is a plus.)
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
Proactive and able to make recommendations for improving processes and procedures.
Ability to multitask efficiently.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with lawyers and other personnel at all levels.
Ability to work in a collegial team environment, as well as to take initiative and work independently.
Knowledge of CLE rules and familiarity with CLE tracking databases (e.g. viCLE) or other learning management systems preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
