About the Position
The Recruiting and Professional Development Coordinator coordinate activities and processes involved in on-campus recruiting, lateral associate recruiting and onboarding. This position also coordinates and implements firm-wide professional development programs, including evaluations, CLE and training programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with all aspects of law student, entry-level and lateral associate hiring and onboarding
Maintain candidate application information in viDesktop and handle applicant correspondence
Work closely with the Recruiting and Professional Development Manager to execute the department's recruiting strategies and searches
Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews
Assist with planning and execution of firm-wide summer program, including events, workflow, and evaluations
Coordinate logistics of OCI preparation
Track statistics and information to support the recruiting team and law school hiring process
Handle and execute the Recruiting and Professional Development department surveys, including NALP, Vault, and others
Support the annual performance evaluation processes for associates and senior counsel, including outreach to evaluating attorneys, synthesizing feedback and drafting summary evaluations, and administering the evaluation tracking system
Analyze associate performance trends to identify training and coaching needs and collaborate with Managing Director and practice group leaders to design and execute training programs
Coordinate associate mentoring programs, recommend mentor pairings and monitor participation
Manage MCLE administration
Provide support to the Managing Director and the Recruiting and Professional Development Manager on the firm’s diversity and inclusion initiatives

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of firm personnel. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows applications.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum 3 years of experience in professional services firm
Knowledge of recruiting processes
Familiarity with viDesktop’s suite required
Requires travel to other offices, as needed
