Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, currently has an opening for a Temporary Talent Acquisition Assistant in the Talent Acquisition Department of our New York office.
The Temporary Talent Acquisition Assistant plays a key role by assisting the Talent Acquisition Team and carrying out activities related to the recruiting and hiring of attorneys. This position will focus and support the New York office with its summer associate program and on-campus recruiting efforts, and may also assist with other recruitment initiatives as needed. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists the Talent Acquisition team with the recruitment process for the firm’s summer associate program
Assists with summer program orientation and on-boarding
Assists with the preparation of mid-summer and end-of-summer evaluations
Provides support for the on-campus recruitment process by preparing materials, scheduling callback interviews, following-up with attorneys, and coordinating appropriate communications to candidates
Assists with the day-to-day functions of the Summer Associate program in the New York office including coordinating training, sourcing work assignments, compiling evaluations, planning social events, and other duties associated with the summer program.
Assists with the coordination of interview schedules and collecting feedback on prospective candidates
Interfaces with candidates both in the office and on-campus
Assists with the submission of on-campus interview outcome to different schools we partner with
Maintains Applicant Tracking System
Performs miscellaneous administrative duties including but not limited to processing invoices, submitting applicant interview expenses and law firm shared expenses
Skills & Competencies:
Must be able to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate with attorneys and staff across all levels
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information
Ability to represent the firm professionally in the office, at schools and at events
Qualifications & Prior Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
At least one year of professional/recruiting experience
Proficiency with software including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Applicant Tracking Systems
