Are you interested in elevating you career? Foley & Lardner LLP is searching for a Legal Recruiting Specialist to perform lateral attorney and entry-level attorney recruiting functions for the firm. The Legal Recruiting Specialist interfaces regularly with partners, associates, law school representatives, search firms, candidates, and professional staff, and is a proactive representative of the firm. A successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills; the ability to exercise sound judgment and professionalism; the ability to turn concepts and visions into actions; experience working both independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team; the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment; the ability to prioritize workload to manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities; the ability to provide quality client service on routine and complex matters with internal and external contacts.
Manage administrative processes related to the development and production of recruiting materials, generating reports, and maintaining the applicant tracking system.
Work closely with the Director, Legal Recruiting to implement firm-wide directives and programs, including gathering and maintaining competitive data, facilitating summer associate program, supporting diversity recruiting initiatives, and other duties as they relate to recruiting.
Assist Legal Recruiting team with office-specific recruiting responsibilities as needed.
Maintain and update recruitment content on the firm’s LinkedIn page, Careers blog, external website, email marketing platforms, and other related recruiting materials.
Manage communication of recruiting policies, procedures, and information to the national recruiting team; assist with managing compliance and recruiting team training of firm-wide policies and procedures.
Attend and assist with facilitating summer associate retreat, recruiting committee meetings, and department meetings.
Provide necessary metrics, reports, and firm-wide project outcomes as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree required
A minimum of three (3) years of recruiting experience in the professional services industry required; law firm recruiting experience strongly preferred
Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System required; knowledge of viRecruit preferred
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must be able to work occasional extended hours during busy periods and travel when needed
Position could be located in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Milwaukee or Washington, DC.
