King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, is currently seeking an HR Coordinator to join our Los Angeles or San Francisco office. The HR Coordinator will provide Human Resources and Legal Recruiting support for the California and Denver offices. Candidates will have the following responsibilities: Human Resources - Participates in the life cycle of recruitment including updating job descriptions, generating job postings, reviewing resumes, scheduling, and preliminary interviewing for support staff.
- Prepares termination paperwork to include exit interview forms and documents to communicate final pay and PTO accruals.
- Answers inquiries from Firm personnel regarding policies and procedures.
- Answers inquiries regarding medical, disability, life insurance, vacation, PTO, and other benefits or services.
- Maintains confidential employee personnel records and update employee information on computer in HR information system.
- Assists with coordination of annual reviews and appropriate record keeping
- Enter invoices and code for processing in the ChromeRiver system.
Legal Recruiting - Coordinates the full lifecycle associate recruiting process for lateral, entry-level, and summer associate hires.
- Assists in verifying and compiling information regarding reference, background checks, and conflicts for new lawyers.
- Plans and attends on-campus interview programs, job fairs, and recruiting events
- Prepares correspondence, job postings, evaluation summaries, registration and orientation materials.
- Maintains applicant tracking, including data input and maintenance.
