The Program Manager for the LCLD Fellows Program will oversee the day-to-day operations of the LCLD Fellows Program. The position will play a critical role in the planning and execution of LCLD events, to include: the LCLD Fellows meetings, Learning Experiences and Leadership Lunches.
This position will require a highly skilled individual able to quickly and successfully shift gears between the big picture and the smallest day-to-day details while supervising the LCLD Fellows initiatives and events.
Specific Duties will include:
Develop and implement the strategic goals of the LCLD Fellows Program
Work collaboratively with LCLD Event Planner to manage three Fellows group meetings per year, Leadership Lunches, Learning Experiences, and other supporting events and meetings
Work with the Director of Alumni to implement the Fellows Program curriculum to provide innovative, cutting edge content
Lead the design and execution of the Fellows Communication Plan
Manage and set benchmarks for the Fellows Program, to include surveying Fellows and LCLD Members, defining program success
The successful candidate should be a self-motivated leader and a team player that enjoys collaborating with others to create innovate leadership-oriented programming. This person must enjoy working with people, and communicating by phone, email and in-person. Travel as needed. An undergraduate degree is required. Applicants should reside in the Richmond, VA or Washington, DC metro areas. Most significantly, the candidate must demonstrate evidence of a passion for increasing diversity and promoting inclusion within the legal profession.
