Fredrikson & Byron is seeking a Manager of Recruiting, Inclusion & Diversity to join the expanding Recruiting, Inclusion & Diversity Team in our Minneapolis office.
As Manager of Recruiting & Hiring/Inclusion & Diversity you would be responsible for: • Managing and implementing strategic priorities and processes related to entry-level and lateral lawyer recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and integration • Advancing firmwide inclusion and diversity initiatives, processes, and strategic priorities
The team works within Human Resources Department and supports the Inclusion & Diversity; Lateral Hiring; and Recruiting & Hiring Committees. This position reports to the Director of Recruiting, Inclusion & Diversity.
Ideal candidates will have: • 5+ years of experience in legal recruiting and inclusion and diversity • Experience working within a law school or law firm • Demonstrated ability to successfully and simultaneously manage committees and people, short-term and long-term projects, day-to-day tasks, deadlines, priorities, and details, with frequent interruptions, in a fast-paced, collaborative, and service-oriented professional environment • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and collaboration skills • Sound professional judgment; analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated strong work ethic, and ability to lead, follow, and take initiative when working both independently and as part of various teams. • Supervisory experience • Advanced skills in document management software or programs, including viDesktop; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint). • Juris Doctor degree and legal practice experience preferred but not required (Bachelor’s degree required)
