Position Summary

We are looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our Recruiting Team to manage the first stage of your recruiting process.

Talent Sourcer responsibilities include providing support to both staff and attorney recruiting using various channels source candidates for hire, and create relationships with passive candidates as a means to build talent pipelines for future hiring needs. Solid networking skills, ability to source on social media and pivot quickly for different roles are essential skills for this position.

Essential Functions

  • Co-develops and implements an effective sourcing strategy
  • Works together with the recruiter to define candidate personas
  • Conduct phone screens and communicate effectively with potential candidates and asses skills
  • Sources suitable candidates through various sourcing channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, Pirical, and internal relationship mining
  • Drafts and sends out recruiting emails to potential candidates 
  • Has knowledge of how to use the various sourcing channels 
  • Promotes the RS Employer Brand when communicating with candidates on various platforms 
  • Is able to build and maintain a talent pool that can meet the firm’s future hiring needs 
  • Keeps track of pre-defined sourcing metrics and reports on them 
  • Follows up on employee referrals  


Education:  Bachelor degree in HRM, psychology, education, business, and/or related business experience.

Experience: 2+ years experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role


  • Demonstrate affinity with candidate sourcing and recruitment techniques
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools, HR systems (including an ATS) and candidate management systems
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer literate
  • Strong sales skills
  • Ability to effectively present both roles and our company to candidates
  • Ability to quickly make decisions

Equipment To Be Used:  Personal computer and other office equipment such as telephone, calculator, fax, machine, copier, scanner, etc.

Typical Physical Demands: Manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment.

Typical Mental Demands: Able to work effectively in a fast paced environment.  Make judgment decisions and adapt to changing work situations.  Grasp and apply new ideas.  Communicate with various personalities at all levels.

Working Conditions: Works in typical office setting.  Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule.
