Troutman Pepper, an AmLaw50 law firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Talent Recruiting Coordinator to be based in Washington, DC. This position will be responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts for on-campus recruiting, summer programs, entry-level and lateral associates, and other legal professionals in various offices as assigned. We are searching for someone who is a positive, team player, wants to be a valued contributor, and is a detail oriented, efficient multi-tasker with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain applicant records, ensure data integrity, and prepare statistics. 

• Coordinate interview schedules, travel logistics, reimbursement requests, offer letters, and other communications with lateral attorney candidates.

• Support multiple summer associate programs, including onboarding administration, tracking and reviewing summer associate assignments and evaluations, event planning and attendance, and budget tracking.

• Assist with all aspects of law school on-campus interviews (OCI), including candidate pre-selections, preparing OCI materials for attorneys and students, planning OCI receptions, and preparing callback interview schedules, travel arrangements, and other logistics for candidates.

• Assist with on campus recruiting activities, interacting with headhunters and other activities related to lateral and student hiring.

• Support the regional recruiting committees, including scheduling and attending meetings, developing agendas, supporting the committee chairs and other activities.

• Other administrative duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with applicant tracking systems is preferred.

• Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

• Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple assignments, and work responsibly under pressure.

• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule that will occasionally require travel and extended hours.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 2+ years of recruiting or related experience in a law firm or other professional services setting strongly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
