The Financial Data Analyst will be responsible for the creation and generation of detailed reporting and analytics to help the Firm evaluate financial performance, business trends and strategic decisions.

A strong candidate would need to be able to understand complex business processes, gathering requirements, work efficiently and verify their results.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Enhance, design and create Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports
• Read and write complex queries, ability to create or modify existing reporting content
• Connect data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence tools
• Validate report functionality and troubleshoot/improve existing reports
• Strong communication skills – must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the clients and internal team
• Work with analysts to maintain data integrity
• Document, monitor, and proactively recommend improvements to reporting and processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field
• Experience utilizing and optimizing large data sets
• Intermediate/Advanced experience building out Power BI dashboards - include DAX query creation, SSRS and SQL database platform
• Knowledge of Aderant Expert database a plus
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and analyze multi-faceted problems and recommend solutions in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Comfort in working collaboratively and developing relationships across organizational levels and departments
