The Director for Law Firm Placement, in the Office of Career Services, focuses on increasing opportunities for Cardozo students and graduates in the world's largest law firms. The director will mobilize the community of Cardozo Law School and Yeshiva University among the globe's top firms. This position will have a straight-line reporting to the Office of Career Success and a dotted line to Institutional Advancement. The director will be dedicated to cultivating the Cardozo graduates who are already successful in BigLaw; Promoting Cardozo's success in BigLaw and related fields; and advocating for current students to increase entry level jobs year-on-year.
Track every lateral move, promotion, and entry level hire into large firms across the country
Meet and cultivate relationships with every Cardozo graduate in BigLaw
Create network of recent graduates who will mentor and advocate for current student hires
Promote the success of Cardozo graduates in BigLaw
Coordinate the on-campus presence for lawyers at Cardozo events, with affinity groups, and other opportunities where students and BigLaw alumni might connect
Work with our YU alumni to cultivate relationships with firms and enhance the number of Cardozo advocates within firms
Publicize and educate large law firms on the strength of Cardozo's curriculum, practical experience, and reputation
Enhance and plan seminar courses in finance practice areas critical to BigLaw
Monitor 1L diversity and inclusion opportunities and coordinate a 1L OCI to pipeline diverse students into BigLaw
Experience & Educational Background:
JD preferred; experience or interest in large law firms required
Experience as a lawyer or recruiting professional in BigLaw preferred
Skills & Competencies:

Ability to use technology and innovation to track results and manage data
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
