The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for nationwide legal and administrative staff recruiting and reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition. The Talent Acquisition Specialist handles full-cycle recruiting from opening requisitions, conducting interviews, to negotiating offers. Sourcing and screening passive and active candidates via online job boards, the Firm’s Applicant Tracking System, and recruiting agencies
Posting requisitions on internal and external job boards
Interviewing candidates and recommending candidates to attorneys and hiring managers
Evaluating attorney and hiring manager needs
Scheduling interviews for attorneys and hiring managers
Building and maintaining relationships with recruiting agencies including negotiating fee agreements
Drafting, extending, and negotiating offers of employment
Initiating the onboarding process including background checks, onboarding materials, scheduling start dates, and notifying the attorneys and hiring managers
Candidates for the Talent Acquisition Specialist role should have 5-7 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm. The Talent Acquisition Specialist role requires frequent and effective communication with attorneys, candidates, hiring managers, and team members via phone, Zoom, text, email, etc. Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
