Continuing Legal and Executive Education Officer

Reporting to the Director of Operations for the Office of Professional, Executive, and Graduate Programs (“OPEG”), the Continuing Legal and Executive Education Officer will oversee all aspects of Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) accreditation for the Law School’s non-curricular programs. In collaboration with the other members of OPEG, the incumbent also will design and execute new CLE offerings, as well as provide support for new and existing non-CLE-eligible executive education offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Director of Operations for OPEG, oversee all aspects of CLE accreditation for the Law School’s non-curricular offerings, including application intake and review, processing of necessary forms, issuance of certificates, and annual reporting.
- In collaboration with the OPEG team and Law School faculty, design and execute new in-person and virtual CLE offerings. Develop and maintain an online portal for housing CLE-awarding programming.
- Assist in the creation and communication of print and digital resources for Law School staff and faculty pertaining to CLE accreditation. Maintain the CLE website and its materials, and refine application processes and communications related to CLE accreditation. Maintain the Executive Education website. Manage the CLE and Executive Education email accounts.
- Manage a database of Executive Education and CLE program participants, and provide analytics and reports for the Director of Operations and others as requested.
- Assist the Associate Dean and Director of Operations as otherwise requested to execute the strategic vision of OPEG, including planning and executing special projects/events, creating presentations, doing outreach to stakeholders, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required. Must have at least two years’ experience overseeing or assisting with CLE accreditation at an educational institution, law firm, legal organization, or other CLE provider. Demonstrated success in designing and executing in-person and/or online educational programming strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required. Computer literacy and ability to analyze and evaluate data required. Experience with project management and/or as a database administrator a plus. Ability to work as part of a collegial team of professionals and uphold the utmost confidentiality is required. Must be able to work with diverse constituents and support an inclusive work environment.
