The Lead Specialist, Legal Talent Operations is responsible for supporting management in all aspects of the Legal Personnel and Professional Development department functions, with an emphasis on the immigration needs for the Firm’s US offices, the evaluation process and support with respect to attorney change of status. This role is structured in tandem with a Senior Manager in the department to support the Director of Legal Personnel & Professional Development and the Chief Legal Talent Officer. This role is an integral part of the Firm’s culture and serves as a resource for all associates and counsel.
5-6 years of comparable experience;
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact well and build professional relationships; collaborative approach to working with others of all seniority levels
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and sensitive data
Ability to self-direct, manage multiple priorities, analyze needs and implement solutions
Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail for both long and short-term projects and responsibilities
Must be team oriented, contributing as needed on unexpected projects or requests
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable working in web-based databases/software, e.g. viDesktop
Must be flexible to adjust hours to meet departmental needs
