Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Partner and Counsel Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. This role will be based in our New York office. The Coordinator will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to supporting the firm’s Partner and Counsel Recruiting Director in recruiting, onboarding, and integrating lateral partner, counsel, principal and senior directors firm wide. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.
What you would do:
Collect, enter, and track initial candidate submissions
Maintain documents and process documentation related to lateral partner and counsel recruiting, including candidate tracking documents, forms and marketing materials
Schedule candidate interviews: this includes coordinating details with candidates and appropriate firm personnel
Gather and format data into standard monthly reports
Develop and build relationships with outside organizations involved in recruiting process
Complete research projects to gather market intelligent on lateral hiring trends in various markets
Special projects and other duties as assigned

The typical hiring range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00 per hour with a scheduled 37.5-hour work week. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for employees which includes life, health, accident and disability insurance and a 401(k) plan.
What is required:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
Minimum of three years of experience, including law firm or professional services support staff responsibilities
Experience working within databases and generating reports
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and critical issues with demonstrated history of a commitment to ethics, honesty, integrity, and credibility
Knowledge of working within a firm wide document management system (e.g. iManage) a plus
Previous experience working within a fast-paced work setting a plus
Experience working with attorney or professional staff recruitment experience a plus but not required
An understanding of NALP related to recruiting a plus but not required
