Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $75-85k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.

Based in Los Angeles, the Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating many activities and processes involved in on-campus recruiting throughout each recruiting season and assist in aspects of lateral associate recruiting and hiring. Your responsibilities as a Recruiting Coordinator will include working with the Los Angeles Senior Recruiting Manager, Recruiting Assistant and Chief Recruiting Officer in all phases of recruiting and development efforts for new attorneys, lateral hires, transfers, and summer associates while accomplishing these and other critical functions.
This role reports to the Los Angeles Senior Recruiting Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with the Los Angeles Senior Recruiting Manager and Recruiting Assistant in planning and managing the office’s overall recruitment efforts, including summer, new, and lateral associate recruiting.
Play an integral role in the Los Angeles office’s recruitment leadership and team.
Acts as liaison to summer associates, law school career services offices, prospective lateral candidates and Gibson Dunn lawyers and staff to ensure smooth hiring process.
Assist in reviewing and selecting summer, new and lateral candidates’ applications for consideration by Hiring Committee.
Assist in preparing and managing summer program budget and calendar of events and collaborate with summer coordinators and hiring partner on execution.
Coordinate and attend summer associate social and training events.
Organize and assist in the management of the on-campus interview logistics for the office’s assigned schools and firm-wide interview teams.
Direct all aspects of candidate visits and fall recruitment callbacks with fellow Recruiting Department members.
Organize follow-up receptions and other events for the office’s assigned schools.
Maintain recruiting records, hiring reports and statistics.
Manage offer extension process and correspond with candidates who have offers.
Attend the annual Hiring Committee Spring Meeting.
Attend Los Angeles Legal Recruiting Administrators Association meetings and events.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Los Angeles Senior Recruiting Manager.

Experience:
University degree
Minimum of 2 years of legal recruiting experience
Some event planning experience required
Proficiency in the use of computer programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with budgets preferred
