Troutman Pepper, a leading national law firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Talent Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. This position will be based in our Atlanta office and will be responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts for on-campus recruiting, summer programs, entry-level and lateral associates, and other legal professionals. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and is able to be a detail oriented, efficient multi-tasker with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. The Legal Talent Recruiting Coordinator will report to a Manager of Legal Talent Recruiting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain recruiting database/applicant tracking system, applicant files hiring statistics, and other relevant documents.
Coordinate interview schedules, travel logistics, reimbursement requests, offer letters, and other communications with attorney candidates.
Support multiple summer associate programs, including onboarding administration, tracking and reviewing summer associate assignments and evaluations, event planning and attendance, and budget tracking.
Assist with all aspects of law school on-campus interviews (OCI), including OCI registrations, candidate pre-selections, preparing OCI materials for attorneys and students, planning OCI receptions, and preparing callback interview schedules, travel arrangements, and other logistics for candidates.
Assist with on campus marketing activities, interacting with headhunters and other activities related to lateral and student hiring.
Support the regional recruiting committees, including scheduling and attending meetings, developing agendas, supporting the committee chairs and other activities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and with teams to promote consistent and efficient workflow processes.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide high-quality service and partner effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels within the firm as well as external contacts.
Ability to self-manage and work independently in a hybrid, and in-office setting.
Other administrative duties as assigned to support the business needs of the department.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with applicant tracking systems is preferred.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of two (2) or more years of recruiting or related experience in a law firm or other professional services setting strongly preferred.
