The Coordinator, Legal Talent is responsible for executing programming in support of the Legal Talent Management function for lawyers in all offices within the US. The Coordinator’s work will be in support of many of the teams large processes including the compensation process, mentor program and lateral integration.
In addition to those responsibilities, the Coordinator will provide general support for other initiatives under the broad remit of the Legal Talent Management (LTM) team, including the non-partner lawyer evaluation process, first year integration process, resource management, partner promotion process, performance management, legal personnel matters, global mobility and secondment efforts, non-partner policy development and implementation, non-partner attorney committee functions and various non-partner lawyer events.
The position reports to the Senior Managers, Legal Talent. Overtime and some travel may be required from time to time to facilitate job responsibilities. The role will require presence in the Houston office from time to time pursuant to the firm’s hybrid work policy.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Help develop and implement the mentor program to support various constituencies at the firm
Using a variety of data sources to create monthly reports, identify trends and update dashboards for all non-partner lawyers
Communicate effectively and proactively with firm lawyers (partners and non-partners)
Work closely with LTM team members to enhance connectivity across the non-partner population
Aid in execution of non-partner lawyer year-end evaluation and compensation processes
Support lawyer development through LTM’s integration initiatives
Provide insights in support of lawyer retention efforts
Help facilitate firmwide programming, including local and national events
Complete other tasks in support of legal talent function at the firm

Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum two (2) years professional work experience, preferably at a law firm or other professional services environment
Experience in Microsoft Excel required; advanced skills a plus
Experience in Workday a plus
Professionalism, personal integrity and high degree of confidentiality and discretion
Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness and excellent organizational skills required
Good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent work product
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; both written and oral
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Interest in working on and in support of a team
Confident interacting with all levels of the organization, both legal and administrative
Reliable, flexible and a can-do attitude in all situations is essential
