The Legal Recruiting Assistant will join a supportive and collaborative team. The Assistant will provide administrative support to the Legal Recruiting Manager, Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator and Legal Recruiting Coordinator with the planning and execution of the summer associate program and executing the firm’s 1L, 2L and 3L hiring efforts. They will also provide support with the onboarding process for fall associates.
Responsibilities
Provide general support to the Legal Recruiting Manager, Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator and Legal Recruiting Coordinator
Assist in coordinating and planning all aspects of the summer associate program (events, trainings, name tags, collecting responses, maintaining spreadsheets etc.)
Assist with summer associate onboarding and orientation as necessary (e.g. prepare materials, track progress)
Attend summer associate program events as required
Maintain summer associate work assignment board
Assist with the administration of summer associate mid-and-end-of-summer evaluations
Serve as a firm ambassador
Assist in setting up 1L and rising 2L events and sponsorships
Assist with compiling on-campus recruiting materials and post-OCI processing of callback decisions
Prepare hiring meeting materials and assist with follow up
Assist in the administration of scheduling interviews as necessary
Organize and execute NALP shared expense reimbursement process
Complete law school hiring outcome surveys
Track and file incoming resumes and maintain recruiting databases
Maintain LawCruit database with accurate and complete records
Maintain NetDocs file management system with accurate and complete records
Assist with fall associate onboarding and orientation as necessary
Assist with office tours for summer associates, fall associates, and lateral associates
Keep track of inventory of marketing materials and order additional supplies, as needed, for recruiting purposes
Must be willing to work overtime as requested, especially during the months of May through August
Work collaboratively and across the team and other departments of the firm
Perform other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates
New York Applicants: Salaries may vary by location. In New York, the estimated target salary range of this role is $57,000 - $72,000, in addition to bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefit package. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to, the relevant market and the skill, experience, class or graduation year, and education of the selected candidate.

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines; excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently and be proactive
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
Experience working with databases (LawCruit) would be a plus

Attendance:
Unless specifically noted, all positions are full-time and require daily presence in the office. Regular, reliable attendance is expected and required.
