Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Assistant reporting to the Manager of Attorney Recruiting – Los Angeles. This position will reside in the Los Angeles office and will be responsible for assisting with the organization and planning of the summer associate program, on campus recruiting, lateral associate recruiting and orientation and assists the Attorney Recruiting Manager and Coordinator in all aspects of daily tasks.
A hybrid in-office/remote work opportunity is available for this position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
General Responsibilities
Maintain database for summer associate and lateral candidates.
Provide all statistical data, as requested.
Process expense reimbursements and invoices.
Prepare interview schedules.
Maintain and monitor Southern California calendars and inboxes.
Create surveys and track survey data.
Assist with entry level and lateral associate onboarding as needed.
Summer Program
Assist Manager and Coordinator with coordination of the summer program (including training programs, orientation, events, etc.).
Assist with the assignment process, collecting evaluation forms and other tasks as needed.
Facilitating the mid-summer review and end-of-summer review/departure process.
Attend summer associate events as appropriate.
Respond to general questions from summer associates and attorneys about summer programs.
Law Student Recruiting
Assist with the law student interview process, including but not limited to, registering SoCal offices in necessary programs, scheduling interviews, and preparing interview materials.
Assist with the coordination of law school recruiting events and attending as necessary.
Greet recruits upon arrival and escort them to interviews.
Collect interview evaluations and prepare summaries for the Recruiting Committee.
Updating and maintaining records related to law student recruiting.
Experience/Qualifications:
This job requires:
A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, and;
A minimum of one year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally in a professional services, corporate, or law firm setting.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to travel between the Los Angeles, Century City and Orange County offices as needed.

The ability to protect and maintain confidential and sensitive information.

Basic knowledge of the following software: MS-Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Preferred: ViRecruit, iManage Document Management System.

For positions in Los Angeles, CA, the salary range for this job posting is
$48,672.00 - $77,875.50.
The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
