Associate Immigration Attorney
At least one year of experience in immigration law required. The ideal candidate would be someone with experience in the following areas of immigration law: family petitions, asylum, individual hearings, SIJS hearings, U-Visas, waivers (including I-601A, I-601, I-212), cancellation of removal. Experience in the following is preferred, but not required: O Visas, H1B, employment petitions, eligibility under § 245(i), and PERM. Job will require brief writing; preparation of various immigration petitions; attendance at master calendar hearings, bond hearings, and individual/merits hearings before the Immigration Court; as well as appearances in Maryland State Court.
