About the role
As a Senior Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator—Affinity Groups & Women Enriching Business, you will be responsible for working with the Manager of Global Attorney Diversity & Inclusion – Affinity Groups, the Attorney Development Manager – Women Enriching Business and Diversity Programming, and the Director of Global Attorney Diversity & Inclusion to support all projects related to the firm’s lawyer affinity groups, Multicultural Promotion and Attainment Coalitions (“MPACs”) and the Women Enriching Business (“WEB”) Committee. Other key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the launch and management of all of our lawyer affinity groups and MPAC chapters, including assisting with leadership rotations, onboarding new leaders, leadership calls, managing membership rosters, and maintaining email distribution lists
- Working closely with the Manager of Global Attorney Diversity & Inclusion – Affinity Groups to help implement the global strategy for all lawyer affinity groups and MPACs and execute on all global initiatives and programs, including professional development programs, mentoring programs, and global events in celebration of cultural holidays.
- Working closely with the Attorney Development Manager – Women Enriching Business and Diversity Programming to support the management of the WEB Committee and subcommittees, including assisting with onboarding new WEB Committee members, organizing Committee calls and meetings, and preparing WEB presentations
- Drafting email communications for affinity groups, MPACs, and WEB Committee, including event invitations, newsletters, and mentoring program communications
- Handling all aspects of event planning for affinity group retreats, WEB Committee meetings, and the annual WEB Financial Analysis Program. Works closely with Events, Business Development, and Technology Departments
- Collaborating with the Staff Global Diversity Team on lawyer and staff affinity group partnerships and helping develop shared resources for lawyer and staff affinity group leaders
- Coordinating the logistics for all affinity group and MPAC sessions at academies and for new hires, summer associates, and law students
- Assisting with affinity group-led pro bono projects, recruiting events, and client events
- Tracking and helping manage conference and organizational sponsorships led by the affinity groups and the WEB Committee; including preparing marketing collateral, coordinating event invitations for attorneys, tracking attendance, and collecting feedback
- Assisting with the preparation of awards submissions for our lawyer affinity groups, affinity group leaders, and the WEB Committee
About you

- Display high level of attention to detail
- Possess organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines within tight timeframes
And have:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years related administration experience
